Previously, at 8:54 a.m. on November 11, a working group of traffic police from Nam Nhun District Police was on duty at the intersection of Le Thai To Street and Quang Truong Street, Nam Nhun Town, and discovered De driving a motorbike in violation of traffic laws, so they stopped the vehicle for inspection.

Working with the police, De did not comply, did not cooperate, used his cell phone to record and broadcast live on Facebook, and made insulting comments to the working group, providing false information.

At about 10:20 a.m. the same day, the working group invited people to witness, made a record of the violation and forcibly detained the vehicle according to regulations. At this time, De still did not comply and punched a police officer in the face.
