On the evening of July 13, the heritage space at 49 Tran Hung Dao ( Hanoi ) became a place where classical melodies and artistic souls intersect in the Summer Dream Concert 2 program. This is a successful continuation of the first season held in 2024 with the theme Love Air as an artistic appointment between scholarly music and people with similar emotions.

The concert is the return of two familiar faces in the Vietnamese classical music scene - violinist Trinh Minh Hien and cellist Bui Ha Mien. Having participated in many art programs, they do not seek the spotlight of the market but choose to embark on a more difficult path - nurturing aesthetic taste and lasting emotions in the public.
In her role as the composer of the entire repertoire, Trinh Minh Hien once again affirmed her artistic identity through her creative arrangements and refined performance. For her, classical music is not only an academic heritage but also a means to tell emotional, elegant stories imbued with Hanoi culture.
The program is divided into 3 parts, each with its own emotional color. In Classic opens with classic music and Nguoi Ha Noi - a familiar piece arranged for violin by Trinh Minh Hien. In this performance, the rustic yet soulful sounds seem to evoke the image of an ancient, elegant and proud Hanoi.

Next is the In Soundtrack section with film soundtracks such as Cinema Paradiso, Bo Gia - melodies that touch the memory and evoke human emotions. The final section - In Love , takes the audience on a journey through immortal love songs such as Yesterday, O Sole Mio or Mat Biec - a special arrangement by Bui Ha Mien, haunting and romantic as a bridge between scholarly music and modern emotions.
The program features many talented artists, together creating a musical space rich in power and sophistication. Violinist Tran Thi Lan Huong, with over 20 years of experience performing and teaching, brings a calm, profound playing style with the Apaixonado quartet. Soprano Hien Nguyen - who studied in Milan - captivates the audience with her solid vocal technique and romantic love songs such as Caruso, O Sole Mio.

A highlight of the program is the appearance of Italian pianist and conductor Paolo Scibilia - who has performed at famous stages such as Carnegie Hall (New York). Coming to Hanoi for the first time, he brought with him the vibrant and passionate spirit of Italian art and accepted to participate in the program as an inspiring artistic reunion with Trinh Minh Hien.
In addition, Belarusian violist Svetlana Golubovska, currently the principal violist of the Sun Symphony Orchestra (SSO), also contributes to the creation of a cohesive and emotional string quartet with Trinh Minh Hien, Bui Ha Mien and Lan Huong. Together, they tell stories through sound, eyes and silence, not showing off technique but spreading kindness and expressive depth.
