On the morning of June 18th, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha led Task Force No. 5 on directing and guiding the rearrangement of (new) commune-level administrative units to work with Long Bien district.

During the meeting, Task Force No. 5 listened to the opinions and feedback from district officials, leaders, and departments, as well as the prospective chairmen of the People's Committees of the four new wards, regarding the difficulties and obstacles encountered in organizing the new ward structure.
Besides recommendations and proposals related to headquarters, facility arrangement, financial and budgetary handover, and projects, officials from Long Bien district also raised several issues related to names and signage. Specifically, Vice Chairman of the Long Bien District People's Committee, Nguyen Thi Thanh Hang, proposed that the city standardize the signage for new wards and communes across the city and provide guidance on naming residential groups with duplicate names and numbers when wards are merged.
Regarding signage, Deputy Director of the Department of Internal Affairs Nguyen Chi Doan stated that there are currently no guidelines on a common standard model, so localities are still implementing it based on the principle of fostering creativity.

However, in concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha requested Deputy Director of the Department of Internal Affairs Nguyen Chi Doan to report to the Director of the Department on this matter so that the People's Committee can provide specific and unified guidance throughout the city. The guidance should be adjusted to include both the content and form of signage if no general guidelines are in place, avoiding a situation where different places use different styles.
Regarding the naming of residential areas, Deputy Director of the Department of Internal Affairs Nguyen Chi Doan stated that this matter is specifically regulated in the Law on Organization of Local Government and falls under the authority of the Ward People's Council.
