This strange rock weighs 1.5 tons and is located right at the entrance of the open-air sculpture museum in the city of Neuenkirchen, Germany. The rock looks rough but the strange thing is that when heated, it can emit wifi.
Simply standing next to this rock allows you to connect to the internet using your phone, laptop, tablet, etc., to browse the web. Many visitors have come to the museum to confirm this special "ability."

In fact, this rock doesn't naturally emit Wi-Fi; it's thanks to "human intervention." It turns out it's the work of Aram Barthonll, a designer who embedded a heat-powered Wi-Fi transmitter and a USB drive inside the rock.
Additionally, this USB drive contains PDF files with diverse survival guides, such as: breakup tips, how to deal with drones, and survival guides for feisty single women.
After being heated, the generator converts thermal energy into electrical energy, powering the homemade Piratebox software to create an offline wireless network. This allows visitors to access, search, and download files stored on a USB drive pre-installed inside the rock.

Aram Bartholl drew inspiration for the design of this stone from an ancient German stove called BioLite, which works perfectly without electricity using heat from a fire. He is also proud that this is his first work that combines classic and modern elements. The stone is named Keepalive.
