Former Secretary of Uong Bi City Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Pho : Proud of the constant development of the homeland
Looking back on the past, I am very excited and proud of the continuous development of Uong Bi City. The urban appearance is more spacious and beautiful, the roads are convenient for travel, the economy , culture and society are increasingly developing; the infrastructure is invested in and built synchronously and modernly. Uong Bi City has achieved these achievements thanks to the harmonious combination of factors: The comprehensive leadership role of the Party Committees at all levels; the effective management and operation role of the government; the determination, dedication and exemplary role of the leaders; the spirit of solidarity, innovation and patriotic emulation among the majority of cadres, Party members and people.
With a solid foundation, we must be quick, decisive, grasp opportunities, make good use of opportunities, closely follow the policies of the Central Government and the province to continue the city's development momentum, exploit the potentials and strengths of the locality. In particular, with its rich cultural history, I believe that Uong Bi City will continue to break through to become a bright spot of the province and a center of spiritual and cultural tourism of the whole country; continue to strive to complete the criteria of a type I urban area.
