According to initial information, on the afternoon of August 8, NPTNH (born in 2013, 6th grade student, residing in Phan Thiet ward) accepted an appointment with his friend HN (born in 2012, student at Nguyen Trai Secondary School, Phu Thuy ward) to go to an empty lot in Phan Thiet ward to "talk" and resolve the conflict.

Here, HN and 5 other students (from 11 to 14 years old) used beer bottles, hands, and feet to repeatedly hit NH. In addition, there were 6 other teenagers standing watching and cheering.

After returning home, NH told his family that he had been in a traffic accident and was taken to the hospital for treatment. On August 10, the family discovered a clip of the incident circulating on social media and learned that their son had been beaten, so they went to the Phan Thiet Ward Police Station to report it.
