Also attending were Senior Lieutenant General Pham Truong Son, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army; Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Civil Defense Command of the Ministry of Public Security ; Major General Tran Chi Tam, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 7; Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi, and leaders of ministries, branches, and localities.
After listening to the report of Lam Dong province, the opinions of ministries, branches and localities, on behalf of the Government and the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister acknowledged the proactive, timely and active participation of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, Ministry of National Defense , Ministry of Public Security, Military Region 7 and functional forces in implementing solutions to respond to and prevent floods in Lam Dong.

Up to now, the province has repaired and reopened all traffic routes in Prenn Pass, Mimosa Pass and D'ran Pass. Forces have focused on cleaning and sanitizing the environment, preventing and fighting epidemics in residential areas and schools; ensuring that healthcare, electricity, water and telecommunications are restored.
The work of supporting and helping people has also been actively carried out. At present, the province is focusing on rebuilding houses for collapsed households and repairing damaged houses; at the same time, directing the overcoming of damage in agriculture and production and business, supporting people to resume production.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong province to continue to focus on directing and seriously implementing the instructions of the Government and the Prime Minister, first of all, ensuring people's lives, reviewing and supporting, with the spirit of not letting any household lack hunger, medicine, food, water, etc.
Second is to urgently build houses for people, mobilize military and police forces to support and encourage people to promote the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, national love, compatriots' love, village love, and neighborly love, and share in difficult times.

Third is to ensure students' learning; not to let students go without books, lack learning materials, or have no conditions to go to school.
Fourth is to deal with environmental issues, provide health care for people, and prevent epidemics.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested Lam Dong province to complete the repair of damaged houses for households by December 2025, and for newly built houses, it must be completed by January 15, 2026 at the latest. The Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security, and Military Region 7 continue to support the province in repairing and rebuilding houses for people.

The Ministry of Construction coordinates with units to urgently repair and reinforce landslide-affected passes, urgently but absolutely safely.
At the same time, the province needs to review the overall response, prevention and control of climate change, summarize and learn from the recent flood prevention period, prepare good scenarios, and proactively and actively respond due to complicated weather developments.
