The Provincial Department of Health has assigned emergency medical units to be on standby at the opening and closing ceremonies. Specifically, the Lam Dong Provincial Rehabilitation Hospital has deployed a medical team to serve at the opening and closing ceremonies at Lam Vien Square, Xuan Huong Ward, Da Lat. Units such as the Provincial General Hospital, Pham Ngoc Thach Traditional Medicine Hospital, the Provincial Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, and the Da Lat Regional Health Center have prepared their own pre-hospital emergency medical teams. These teams are fully equipped with medicines and medical equipment to be ready to coordinate and provide medical support when ordered during the Lam Dong Province Tourism Destination Experience Month.

The Department of Health also directed the Provincial Food Safety and Hygiene Sub-Department to take the lead and coordinate with the Provincial Center for Disease Control to strengthen inspection work and ensure food safety conditions during the month-long experience activities. Special attention should be paid to the exhibition space showcasing OCOP products, high-tech agricultural products, and delicious Lam Dong dishes in 2025. Absolutely no food poisoning or foodborne illnesses should occur at these activities.

Mr. Trinh Van Quyet, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Health, emphasized: “The health sector is determined to ensure food safety, preventing food poisoning and foodborne illnesses. This will protect the health of the people and delegates and tourists participating in the Lam Dong Province Tourism Destination Experience Month in 2025. It will contribute to improving healthcare for the people, maintaining political security and social order in the province, and building the image of Lam Dong as a safe destination in the hearts of tourists.”

The Provincial Food Safety Department organized a monitoring and guidance team to ensure food safety at the Lam Dong Delicious Food Space 2025, a culinary space within the Street Culture Month program in the Mui Ne National Tourist Area. Specifically, the food processing and sales area must be arranged appropriately to avoid cross-contamination between unprocessed and cooked food; food must be displayed on tables, shelves, and other means that ensure food safety and hygiene, and maintain street aesthetics.

Ingredients used in food processing and sales must ensure food safety, have clear origins and traceability, be within their expiration dates, and not contain additives outside the permitted list. Utensils and equipment used for processing, storing, and displaying food must be hygienic, easy to clean, and free from insects and pests. Packaging and materials in direct contact with food must not contaminate or expose the food. There must be protective coverings against sun, rain, dust, insects, and pests. Water used in processing, washing utensils, and sanitation must be clean water according to national technical standards. Personnel directly involved in food processing and serving must comply with regulations regarding health conditions and food safety knowledge: possessing certificates of food safety training and periodic health check-ups as required.

Food service establishments participating in these events must control the source of their food ingredients, avoiding the use of contaminated, low-quality, or unidentifiable food. They must not use spoiled or rotten food and must adhere to proper hot and cold food storage regulations.

At the same time, maintain complete records, legal documents, invoices, and receipts related to food safety. Ensure food safety throughout the entire process of processing, preserving, transporting, and serving food at the stall. Absolutely do not sell food near sources of contamination or areas with a risk of disease transmission.
