On the afternoon of August 3rd, the Institute of Oncology and Nuclear Medicine ( Military Hospital 175 ) and Ho Chi Minh City Open University jointly organized the "OU Thanks - Love Lasts Forever" program with many activities to care for the mental well-being and inspire positive living for patients.
At the program, speakers including psychologists and doctors from the Institute of Oncology and Nuclear Medicine (Military Hospital 175) and Ho Chi Minh City Open University discussed the topic of "Living Positively" with inpatients suffering from cancer. In an open atmosphere, the experts shared insights into the psychological characteristics of cancer patients, the factors that foster positive thinking and actions to build strength in overcoming the disease... Many relatable stories and examples, relevant to the admission and treatment practices at the Institute of Oncology and Nuclear Medicine, helped patients open up, feel happier, and become more determined in their treatment journey.

In particular, palliative care and mental well-being for patients are always prioritized. At the event, Ho Chi Minh City Open University presented practical gifts to express gratitude and appreciation to the doctors, nurses, and technicians of the Institute of Oncology and Nuclear Medicine. This creates a relaxing reading space, helping to spread a positive spirit to patients and medical staff through meaningful books and messages of love and care.
On this occasion, the two units also coordinated to present approximately 200 gifts to patients receiving inpatient treatment at the Institute of Oncology and Nuclear Medicine (Military Hospital 175).
