As a large-scale online tourism promotion program for Vietnam, "The Beauty of Vietnam" Season 3 opens a journey to honor national cultural values, inspire creativity from heritage, and contribute to spreading the beauty of Vietnam to domestic and international communities. The highlight of the program is the seminar "Sustainable Tourism with Vietnamese Heritage Values," featuring experts, cultural researchers, and technologists. The content focuses on: Exploiting the potential of cultural and natural heritage in tourism development; The role of technologies such as AR and livestreaming in storytelling about heritage; Solutions for transforming lesser-known heritage sites into attractive destinations; The impact of heritage-related tourism on community awareness; and the integration of conservation and tourism-based economic development.
The "Beauty of Vietnam" program, season 3, consists of two phases: Online phase (May 12-18): Dedicated to livestream content creators promoting the proud aspects of Vietnam's cultural heritage. Outstanding individuals will be selected for the next stage.
Offline phase (June 1-10): A real-life journey to 5 culturally rich locations including Hanoi, Phu Tho, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, and Hue. Activities will be live-streamed on the @tiktoklive_vietnam channel, offering a multi-faceted experience of local architecture, rituals, cultural life, and cuisine.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Preservation Support Fund, shared: “Thanks to technology and streaming platforms like TikTok LIVE, bringing heritage closer to the public has become easier than ever. Smartphones are now not just entertainment devices, but a gateway to connecting with the world of heritage.”
"When each creator acts as a digital guide, heritage is no longer an old story but becomes new creative material, inspiring young people," Mr. Nguyen Lam Thanh affirmed.
