Leaders of Vietnam News Agency congratulate 80th anniversary of diplomatic sector

On August 27, Deputy General Director of Vietnam News Agency Doan Thi Tuyet Nhung led a delegation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to congratulate the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Diplomatic Sector (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025).

Representing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs , Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang welcomed the delegation of Vietnam News Agency (VNA) to congratulate the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Diplomatic sector.

On behalf of the VNA leadership, Deputy General Director Doan Thi Tuyet Nhung sent her best wishes to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son, the leadership and all staff working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, especially congratulating the achievements over the past 80 years that the Diplomatic Sector has achieved.

Deputy General Director Doan Thi Tuyet Nhung affirmed that over the past 80 years, the Vietnamese diplomatic sector has continuously grown, promoting its role as a vanguard force on the foreign affairs front, making a great contribution to the cause of protecting, building and developing the country. VNA is always proud to be a key press agency, accompanying the diplomatic sector in informing and propagating the foreign affairs activities of the Party and State, contributing to enhancing the image and position of Vietnam in the international arena.

On this occasion, the Deputy General Director of VNA expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its coordination and facilitation during the past time for VNA to fulfill its political tasks in foreign information work, not only domestically but also abroad.
