At the ceremony, the leaders of the Fisheries and Agricultural, Forestry and Fisheries Product Quality Sub-Department launched a movement for all citizens to participate in the protection, conservation, restoration, regeneration and development of aquatic resources and the protection of the ecological environment. This is a practical activity, demonstrating the role and responsibility of organizations, individuals and the people in jointly preserving, protecting, regenerating and developing aquatic resources in areas with natural water sources.
Delegates released fish fry into Ham Ky Lake in Xuan Ang commune to replenish aquatic resources.
At the same time, we will promote and encourage people not to fish using electric shocks, toxic substances, and prohibited fishing gear; and actively promote the development of aquaculture to reduce pressure on fishing activities.
Following the launch ceremony, over 100,000 native aquatic species, including grass carp, silver carp, crucian carp, and common carp, were released into Ham Ky Lake.
