Billiards match schedule on October 17: Tran Thanh Luc faces the World Cup champion, a huge challenge

The first knockout round (32 players) of the 2025 World Championship of 3-cushion billiards has 4 representatives from Vietnam competing. Among them, Tran Quyet Chien and Chiem Hong Thai have stopped. Tran Thanh Luc and Bao Phuong Vinh have excellently won tickets to continue. Accordingly, Thanh Luc beat Ryuuji Umeda (Japan) 50-38, while Phuong Vinh beat World Cup champion Yilmaz Ozcan (Turkey) 50-28 in the match that took place in the early morning of October 17.
