Petrolimex Joint Venture wins bid for Mai Son Expressway Rest Stop Project - National Highway 45
The North-South Expressway East Rest Stop, Mai Son - National Highway 45 section, is located on both sides at Km 329+700 in Dong Hoa commune, Dong Son district, Thanh Hoa province.

The Director of the Vietnam Expressway Administration has just signed a decision approving the results of the selection of investors for the investment project to build and operate the Km329+700 rest stop under the Mai Son - National Highway 45 component project on the North-South expressway, Eastern section.
Accordingly, the winning investor is the Petrolimex Joint Venture (Joint Venture of Vietnam National Petroleum Group - Thua Thien Hue Petroleum Company); the value in cash paid to the state budget is 111 billion VND; the preliminary value of the project implementation cost (M1) is 201.685 billion VND; the value of compensation, support, and resettlement (M2) is 10.454 billion VND.
The overall progress of the Mai Son - National Highway 45 Rest Stop Project is 17 months, of which the completion time for public service works is 11 months. The project exploitation time after completing the investment work is 25 years.
The Ministry of Transport assigns the Thang Long Project Management Board, as the inviting party, based on the approved investor selection results, to organize the implementation of the next steps in compliance with the provisions of the Bidding Law and Decree No. 23/2024/ND-CP.
During the implementation process, note to negotiate with the winning Investor to shorten the progress of public works to serve the essential needs of people and vehicles participating in traffic on the route and other notes stated in the Appraisal Report of the Appraisal Team.
Rest stop location The Mai Son - National Highway 45 rest stop project is located on both sides at Km 329+700 in Dong Hoa commune, Dong Son district, Thanh Hoa province, in which the station on the right side of the route has a total area of about 39,184m2 and the station on the left side of the route has a total area of about 32,473m2.
The expected construction items include: public service works, providing free services (parking lots, resting spaces, temporary rest rooms for drivers, toilets, information provision areas, places to organize and launch traffic safety propaganda, places for rescue workers, first aid for traffic accidents); commercial service works (food and beverage service areas, areas for introducing and selling goods, fuel stations, electric vehicle charging stations, vehicle maintenance and repair workshops, car washes; restaurants, entertainment areas, other essential services to meet the needs of the people); auxiliary works that are symbols of the locality or of rest stops.
