The project promises to deliver a visually stunning art space, combining traditional culture with modern performance technology.
Located in the area of the National Education Monument ( Hue City), the floating stage is designed in the shape of a bell - a characteristic architectural symbol of the Hue imperial court, reflecting the spirit of honoring culture and history.
With a capacity of up to thousands of spectators, the grandstand area has also been fully installed and is ready to welcome tourists and locals.

In addition to its unique design, the opening night's artistic program was elaborately produced with semi-realistic performances, combining visual mapping effects, LED floor displays, water screens, pyrotechnic effects, hot air balloons, paragliding, and a modern sound and lighting system.
These days, hundreds of artists and dancers from all over the country have gathered in Hue to rehearse for the opening night. Dancer Pham Ngoc Duy ( Hanoi ) shared that this is his first time performing on water. The grandeur and uniqueness of the stage have made him extremely excited. He hopes the program will contribute to promoting Vietnamese culture to domestic and international tourists.
According to Mr. Duong Quang Hien, Director of the Thuan Hoa District Green Park Center, the floating stage on the Perfume River will only be used for the opening ceremony of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025, and will be dismantled afterward.
However, this area will continue to be developed into a permanent outdoor stage to serve the long-term cultural and artistic events of Hue City.
Besides the temporary floating stage, Hue City is also implementing a project for an outdoor stage combined with a promenade along the Perfume River, with a total investment of over 28.5 billion VND.
The structure includes a semicircular stage paved with ironwood, a 3,000 m² grandstand system, and a modern lighting system, and is expected to become an attractive destination for tourism and major events in the future.
After nearly two months of construction, the project has completed many important items, ready for the opening night and subsequent events. When completed, this outdoor stage will have a capacity of approximately 6,000 people, becoming a major center for arts and festivals in the ancient capital.
