In less than a month, many U23 Vietnam players have consecutively participated in two tournaments: the 2023 U23 Southeast Asian Championship and the 2024 U23 Asian Championship qualifiers.
The Vietnam U23 team has been playing well recently.
In both tournaments, the red-shirted team performed very well, successfully defending their Southeast Asian U23 Championship title and securing a place in the 2024 AFC U23 Championship finals as group winners.
Following those impressive performances, many U23 Vietnam players have seen their market value increase.
According to Transfermarkt, the transfer value of player Le Van Do has increased from 50,000 euros to 125,000 euros (approximately 3.2 billion VND).
Similarly to their teammate, players Ngoc Thang and Ho Van Cuong are also valued at 125,000 euros.
Two talented players, Hoang Van Toan and Thai Son, are both valued at 100,000 euros (2.5 billion VND) by Transfermarkt.
Meanwhile, Luong Duy Cuong and Phan Tuan Tai are the highest-valued players in the Vietnam U23 team, both worth 150,000 euros (approximately 3.9 billion VND).
According to Transfermarkt, the total value of the Vietnam U23 squad at the present time is 1.72 million euros (approximately over 44 billion VND).
However, the Vietnam U23 team ranks only 4th in Southeast Asia in terms of total squad value, after Malaysia U23 (2.13 million euros), Thailand U23 (2.28 million euros) and Indonesia U23 (4.23 million euros).
