Appeal for support for people affected by storm No. 3 from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province

On the afternoon of July 23, 2025, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee issued an "Appeal" to support people affected by floods and storm No. 3 in Nghe An. The letter was signed by Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Vo Thi Minh Sinh. Dear: To the Party Committee , government , agencies , organizations , businesses, entrepreneurs , officials , Party members and the people in Nghe An province .

In recent days, due to the impact of Typhoon No. 3 (Wipha) and its aftermath, Nghe An province has suffered an unprecedented flood, causing extremely serious damage to both people and property. Many houses have been swept away or collapsed; thousands of hectares of crops and fish ponds have been flooded and completely destroyed; many roads and bridges have been severely damaged; many areas have been deeply submerged in floodwaters, and some localities have been completely cut off and isolated. The lives of the people in the disaster-stricken areas are in extremely difficult circumstances and desperately need compassion and assistance.

Upholding the tradition of solidarity and the spirit of mutual support and compassion of the Vietnamese people, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province earnestly calls upon Party committees, government agencies, organizations, cadres, Party members, civil servants, armed forces personnel, religious organizations, social organizations, businesses, philanthropists, and all compatriots inside and outside the province, overseas Vietnamese... with their feelings and responsibilities, to join hands in supporting and helping the people in the flood-affected areas of Nghe An to overcome the consequences of the natural disaster and quickly stabilize their lives.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province and the Provincial Relief Committee of Nghe An province pledge to promptly, openly, transparently, and appropriately receive and distribute all valuable donations from agencies, units, organizations, businesses, and individuals to the people in the disaster-stricken areas.
