Appeal for support for people affected by storm No. 3 from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province

On the afternoon of July 23, 2025, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee issued an "Appeal" to support people affected by floods and storm No. 3 in Nghe An. In recent days, due to the impact of storm No. 03 (Wipha) and its circulation, Nghe An province has suffered an unprecedented flood, causing extremely serious damage to people and property. Many houses were swept away and collapsed; thousands of hectares of crops and aquaculture ponds were flooded and lost; many roads and bridges were severely damaged; many areas were deeply submerged in floodwaters, some localities were completely cut off and isolated. The lives of people in disaster-hit areas are in extremely difficult circumstances, in dire need of sympathy and help.

Promoting the tradition of solidarity, the spirit of "mutual love and support", "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves" of the nation, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province earnestly calls on Party committees at all levels, authorities, agencies, organizations, cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, soldiers of the armed forces, religious organizations, social organizations, enterprises, philanthropists and all compatriots inside and outside the province, overseas Vietnamese... with their feelings and responsibilities, to join hands to support and help the people in the flooded areas of Nghe An overcome the consequences of natural disasters and soon stabilize their lives.
