According to Colonel Dinh Ngoc Chinh, Commander of Brigade 971 (Transport Department, General Department of Logistics), this competition aims to cultivate and enhance awareness of staff work; Party work, political work; logistics, technical, and financial work; digital transformation; building a regular and disciplined system; and practicing individual drill movements without weapons for all commanders of the brigade's departments and offices. To ensure the competition achieves good results and meets the set objectives, from July 3rd to 7th, the brigade organized intensive training and refresher courses on the content and methods of drill practice for participating officers.

Reportedly, this competition included four events: general knowledge; essay writing; document formatting techniques; and drill practice. In the drill practice event, contestants had 10 minutes to perform individual drill movements without weapons. Additionally, in this section, contestants had to answer supplementary questions from the judges within a maximum of 5 minutes.

Evaluating the quality of the competition, Colonel Nguyen Manh Huan, Political Commissar of the brigade, said that at this competition, the members of the Organizing Committee and the Judging Panel demonstrated a high sense of responsibility, seriously and honestly supervising and grading the exams, and realistically assessing the results of the contestants' papers. The participating officers overcame difficulties, made use of their time to diligently review theory and practice, and strictly adhered to military discipline, the competition regulations, and the rules of the Organizing Committee.

As a result, 100% of the contestants achieved good or excellent scores, with 57.2% achieving excellent scores. Notably, in the technical presentation of document formatting, 100% of the participating contestants achieved excellent or outstanding scores. Individually, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Danh Duc, Head of Logistics and Technical Services of the brigade, achieved the highest score with an average score of 8.71 points; followed by Lieutenant Colonel Le Ngoc Thinh, Deputy Chief of Staff of the brigade, with 8.69 points; and in third place was Senior Colonel Kieu Thanh Huyen, Head of Political Affairs of the brigade, with 8.30 points.
