Hezbollah forces shot down Israeli drone

On June 26, a media channel affiliated with Lebanon's Hezbollah force reported that the armed group shot down an Israeli drone that flew into Lebanese airspace .

“Not long ago, an IDF drone crashed in Lebanese territory during a routine operation,” the Israeli military (IDF) said.

The Hezbollah media office said the drone was shot down near the town of Zibqin in southern Lebanon.

According to Israel's Ynetnews website, over the past 40 years, from a small militia group, Hezbollah has developed into the largest and most well-equipped non-state armed force in the Middle East.
