Tensions between Hezbollah and Israel show no signs of easing, with mutual attacks continuing frequently.

On October 26, Hezbollah claimed to have fired rockets at Israeli troops near the village of Aita al-Shaab in southern Lebanon – an area where fighting between the two sides has been frequent over the past two weeks.
On the same day, the organization also announced that it had attacked Israel's Tel Nof air base south of Tel Aviv with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
Earlier, on October 24, Israeli Army Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi announced the possibility of a swift end to the conflict with Hezbollah forces in Lebanon. According to Halevi, the Israeli army had successfully destroyed the entire high-level command network of the organization.
Since the beginning of October, Israel has expanded its ground offensive against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. Israel has carried out numerous attacks targeting senior Hezbollah leaders, significantly weakening the organization's command structure.
According to figures from the Lebanese Ministry of Health , at least 1,552 people have been killed since Israel intensified its bombing of Lebanon in September before sending ground troops across the border between the two countries.
Hezbollah is an Iranian-backed armed group that is in conflict with Israel in the Lebanese border region.
