Always keep the commitment 'Having BIDV means having a home'

(Chinhphu.vn) - BIDV's biggest preferential home loan package for people under 35 years old since its launch (March 2025) has quickly attracted customers and created a wave of "With BIDV, young people have a home" in the market, contributing to supporting housing and promoting home ownership among young people.

Comprehensive financial support, fixed interest rate of 5.5% per year.

Pioneering the implementation of the Government and State Bank's policy to support young people in owning homes, in March 2025, BIDV launched a preferential credit package for individual customers up to 35 years old who need to buy or lease-purchase a house. This loan package has unprecedented support policies in the market: a fixed interest rate of 5.5%/year for the first 3 years; exemption from principal repayment for the first 5 years; and a loan term of up to 40 years.

A key feature of this loan package is that BIDV clearly states the interest rate after the preferential period, which is calculated based on the 24-month term savings interest rate plus a margin of 3% per year. This transparent approach helps young people proactively plan their long-term finances, control risks, and confidently choose a housing solution.

BIDV has launched a preferential credit package for individual customers under 35 years old.

With its flexible financing policy in the early years, the quick loan package quickly became the top choice for young people looking for their first home. More than 2,500 loans were successfully disbursed in less than two months – a number that demonstrates the product's strong appeal.

According to Ms. Pham Phuong Lan, Deputy Head of Retail Banking at BIDV: "Through this preferential loan package, BIDV aims to create the most favorable financial conditions for young people to confidently own their dream home, proactively manage their personal finances, build their careers and future lives, and contribute to the overall development of the country."

Ms. Lan also shared some important points for customers before deciding to take out a home loan: clearly define your needs and financial capabilities to choose a suitable loan; proactively create a specific repayment plan and calculate long-term cash flow; and make the most of the 5-year grace period to stabilize income before entering the full repayment phase. BIDV is always ready to provide advice to help customers choose the most suitable loan package with the most favorable policies.

Maintaining its reputation as the best home loan brand in Vietnam.

It's no coincidence that BIDV has been honored for six consecutive years by the prestigious international organization The Asian Banker as the "Best Home Loan Bank in Vietnam". For over a decade, BIDV has led the retail banking sector, consistently upholding its commitment to "Having BIDV means owning a home" through continuous improvement and personalization of credit products, especially for young people starting their independent lives.

Ms. Le Thao Uyen (28 years old), a teacher in Hanoi , said: "I researched BIDV's home loan package through the BIDV Home app to view apartment information. The app has tools to help calculate repayment plans, and I found it suitable, so I applied for a loan online immediately. I received the disbursement in just over a week. Everything was clear, professional, and very quick."

Pham Duy Long (30 years old), a technology employee in Ho Chi Minh City, shared: "I've been renting for the past 5 years, always hesitant to buy a house because I was afraid of the pressure of debt repayment. The BIDV loan package was perfect, met my needs, had a low fixed interest rate, and offered a 5-year grace period on the principal, so I decided to go ahead and buy it."

The home loan package for young people is one of BIDV's practical initiatives to fulfill its role in supporting society and creating momentum for sustainable development for the younger generation – who are playing a central role in the socio -economic development of the country.
