Clouds & Water: A Spring Symphony Illuminates the Da Lat Flower Festival 2024

(CLO) On the evening of December 7th, at Lam Vien Square (Da Lat city, Lam Dong province), a special art program themed "Clouds & Water – A Symphony Welcoming Spring" took place impressively. This was a key event within the framework of the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival – 2024, attracting a large number of locals and tourists.

The event was organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports in coordination with the Lam Dong Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The program was not only a free artistic gift for the public but also held great significance in strengthening cultural cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City and the Central Highlands provinces.

Through meticulously staged artistic performances, the program portrays the harmonious beauty of the majestic mountains and forests of Lam Dong and the unique charm of Ho Chi Minh City's riverside urban landscape. This is a unique symphony, blending the highland clouds and the waterways of the Mekong Delta, celebrating the beauty of nature, culture, and love for the homeland.

The show brought together a host of renowned artists such as People's Artist Ta Minh Tam, singers Doan Trang, Quoc Dai, Phuong My Chi, and young singer MONO. The explosive and emotional performances provided the audience with a memorable night of art in the city of a thousand flowers.

In addition, the participation of dance troupes and artists from both localities created a unique cultural exchange, conveying a message of unity and harmony.

This year's Dalat Flower Festival lasts for a whole month, featuring a series of attractive free art events. Highlights include: "Singing the Love of Dalat," held every Friday and Saturday evening at Hoa Binh area (Dalat city center), running until January 1st, 2025; and the Dalat Spring Concert, an international music program taking place on the evening of December 21st at Lam Vien Square.

In addition, several ticketed concerts for audiences who appreciate elegance and high-end artistry will also be held: Da Lat Harmony – Love Story of the Southern Central Highlands (December 14th) at the Opera House, Lam Vien Square; Da Lat Chill – Four Seasons of Love Concert (December 28th) at Lam Vien Square.

These programs will feature a star-studded lineup including Diva My Linh, Duc Tuan, My Tam, Tang Phuc, and Kay Tran, promising moments of artistic transcendence.

The 10th Da Lat Flower Festival is not only a prominent cultural and tourism event but also a bridge to promote the beauty of the city of a thousand flowers and connect cultural and artistic values ​​between regions, welcoming the new year 2025 with great enthusiasm.
