MC Mai Ngoc has temporarily stopped working at VTV.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - To focus on her new home and spend more time with her family, Mai Ngoc has temporarily stopped working as an MC and editor at VTV.

According to a source close to Dan Tri newspaper, MC Mai Ngoc has temporarily stepped down from her work at VTV to spend more time with her family.

"Mai Ngoc is having the happiest days of her life. She took a break from her job at VTV a few months ago and is satisfied with her choice," a source revealed.

Recently, MC Mai Ngọc shared photos from her wedding ceremony. Accordingly, her husband's family organized a lavish and elaborate ceremony with fresh flowers and the wedding gifts presented to the bride's family.

During the wedding ceremony, Mai Ngọc's husband's family brought nine trays containing familiar offerings including a pair of dragon and phoenix figurines, fruits, cakes, wine, tea, etc. These wedding trays were arranged elegantly, combined with fresh flowers.

Mai Ngoc revealed that her mother-in-law personally prepared these exquisite and elaborate wedding trays.

For her part, Mai Ngoc also commissioned 18 sets of traditional Vietnamese dresses for the bridesmaids and groomsmen from both families, bringing the total number of dresses she wore for the big day to 25, costing up to 300 million VND.

Mai Ngoc also revealed a moment of being by her husband Quoc Thang's side, lighting incense together at the ancestral altar.

In addition, the female MC wrote a post sharing about her mother. She said that she is the only daughter in the family, so her mother has given her all her love, always being there for her, rain or shine, never missing any event from the time she went to school until she started working.

The beauty queen realized that her mother always created the best conditions for her to grow up and live her dreams.

"I know there were times when my sadness caused Mom sleepless nights and she lost 10kg in just a few weeks. Mom didn't cry or complain because she was afraid of putting more pressure on me; she just encouraged me daily, gently supporting me. At 35, I feel so lucky to have Mom by my side, not only as a mother but also as a sister and a friend who always listens and understands," Mai Ngoc shared.

She added that when people get married, they talk a lot about the love between a man and a woman, but forget that to have a bride and groom, they have mothers who are always there, providing support in every way.

"I always remind myself to live a good and happy life to be worthy of my mother's love and sacrifices. I love you, Mom," Mai Ngoc wrote.

Mai Ngoc, whose full name is Nguyen Mai Ngoc, was born in 1990 in Hanoi to parents who were civil servants. Starting out as a photo model while still a student at Amsterdam High School, Mai Ngoc frequently appeared in magazines aimed at students.

Mai Ngoc was one of the first generation of "hot girls" along with Mi Van, Tam Tit, and Ngoc Anh. In late 2012, while a fourth-year student at the Academy of Journalism and Communication, Mai Ngoc made an impression with her television appearances. She worked as an MC for VTC and presented the weather forecast on VTV1.

In 2013, Mai Ngoc joined Vietnam Television (VTV) and was nicknamed "The Weather Girl". In 2016, she received the award for the most beautiful female MC at VTV. In 2019, she hosted the program "Vietnam Today" .
