Medlatec Group receives investment from Ares Management to develop Vietnamese healthcare to international standards

Ares Management Corporation is a leading global investment management firm, providing investment solutions in primary and secondary markets across the credit, real estate, private equity, and infrastructure sectors. As of June 2025, Ares manages over $572 billion in assets across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific , and has offices in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Professor, Hero of Labor, Member of the National Assembly (14th and 15th terms) Nguyen Anh Tri, founder, Chairman of the Advisory Board, Chairman of the Science, Technology and Training Council of MEDLATEC GROUP, delivered a speech at the ceremony.

This transaction marks the first time Ares' Asian private equity group has invested in the healthcare sector in Vietnam, demonstrating strong confidence in the governance capabilities, financial transparency, and long-term sustainability potential of Vietnamese businesses.

Mr. Jason Rosenblatt, Senior Managing Director and Head of Private Equity Southeast Asia - ARES Investment Fund, shared the development direction with MEDLATEC GROUP.

This partnership is not merely a financial investment; it also serves as a bridge, allowing Medlatec to access Ares' global management expertise, in-depth investment knowledge, and international network, thereby accelerating digital transformation and enhancing Medlatec's competitiveness in the regional and global healthcare market.

The strategic investment from Ares opens a new phase of development for Medlatec with key focuses including: accelerating the digital transformation of healthcare and expanding investment in artificial intelligence (AI) in diagnosis and treatment; expanding the system of hospitals and laboratories with international standards in key economic regions of Vietnam; and enhancing the overall customer experience, aiming for "smart, humane, and internationally standardized healthcare" services.
