Metro Line 1, also known as Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien Metro Line, is an urban railway line belonging to the Ho Chi Minh City Urban Railway System, which is being completed for use. This Metro line has a 2.6 km underground section through 3 stations and a 17.1 km elevated section through 11 stations, with a total length of 19.7 km. In addition to solving the traffic problem of a populous, dynamic and modern city like Ho Chi Minh City, the operation of the Metro line is also expected to bring happiness to the city's residents, tourists, overseas Vietnamese, etc. when they can admire the beautiful scenery of the city from above. As Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee - Bui Xuan Cuong said: "This is the development of Ho Chi Minh City, helping people and tourists to travel safely, quickly and conveniently; at the same time, it also affirms that the Metro project demonstrates the strong development of the City"
