According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, today (February 19th), Northern Vietnam and North Central Vietnam will experience scattered light rain and drizzle; the Northwest region will have light rain in some areas, with sunny weather in the afternoon. It will be cold, with intensely cold temperatures in some mountainous areas.

The North Central region will also experience scattered light rain, drizzle, and fog; from tonight (February 19th), there will be light rain in some areas, with fog in some places early in the morning. The weather will be cold.

The Central region will experience scattered rain and showers. The South Central region, Central Highlands, and Southern Vietnam will generally have sunny days with scattered showers and thunderstorms at night; however, the area from Binh Dinh to Khanh Hoa will experience scattered rain and showers starting today.

According to the weather forecast from tonight until February 27th, the meteorological agency said that the Northern region will continue to experience light rain, drizzle, and scattered fog, with light rain in a few places in the Northwest region.

Specifically, from February 22-24, the area will experience scattered rain and light rain; from February 25-26, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms. It will be cold at night and in the morning; from around February 23, it will be cold, with some areas experiencing severe cold; high mountainous areas will experience severe cold, with some areas experiencing extreme cold.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, this cold air mass may affect our country's weather around the night of February 22-23. Cold air combined with strong currents in the upper westerly wind zone will continue to cause scattered light rain in the northern provinces. At the same time, the cold air will bring an end to the humid conditions.

According to the temperature chart, Hanoi's weather in the coming days will continue to have drizzle and fog. From February 19-22, the lowest temperature will be 15-18 degrees Celsius, and the highest will be 19-21 degrees Celsius. From February 23, Hanoi's temperature will gradually decrease, with the highest temperature only reaching 17-18 degrees Celsius, and dropping to 14-16 degrees Celsius at night.

During this period, the North Central region experienced scattered rain, with fog and light mist in the early mornings; scattered rain from February 21-24; and scattered showers and thunderstorms from February 25-26. It was cold at night and in the morning; from around February 23 onwards, it was cold.

Central and South Central Vietnam will experience scattered rain and showers, with localized moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms from around February 22-25.

The Central Highlands and Southern Vietnam will experience scattered showers and thunderstorms in some areas, especially the southern Central Highlands and eastern Southern Vietnam from around February 22-23, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places.

Looking further ahead, in March in the North, cold air masses tend to shift eastward, causing many days of light rain, drizzle, and fog, with prolonged humid weather.

In addition, the Southern Hydrometeorological Station also assessed that in the coming days, the cold air will have a stable intensity, then weaken. Around February 22-23, the cold air will strengthen again in the north of our country. Above, the subtropical high pressure will operate stably, from February 23-24, it will lift its axis to the north, then gradually retreat to the east.

This weather pattern will cause cool temperatures in Ho Chi Minh City at night and in the early morning; from February 20-24, the probability of rain is 60%.

In March, meteorological agencies predict that the central and southern regions of Vietnam are likely to experience scattered showers and thunderstorms in some areas. From April 2025 onwards, rain is likely to appear earlier and increase in the Central Highlands and southern regions.
