Over the next 6-24 hours, flood levels on rivers in Thua Thien Hue, including the Vu Gia and Tra Khuc rivers, will continue to recede; water levels on rivers in Thua Thien Hue will fluctuate above Level 2, the Vu Gia River will be above Level 1, and the Tra Khuc River will fall below Level 1.

Warning: From today (November 16th) to November 17th, floods on rivers in Quang Nam and Quang Ngai provinces are likely to rise again; a flood surge is likely to occur on rivers in Quang Tri, Binh Dinh, and Phu Yen provinces. During this surge, peak water levels on these rivers will reach Level 1 - Level 2, with some rivers exceeding Level 2. There is a high risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas, and localized flooding in low-lying areas along rivers and urban areas in provinces from Quang Tri to Phu Yen. The sea will be rough, with waves 3-5 meters high. The sea area from Quang Tri to Ninh Thuan and the central part of the East Sea will experience strong northeast winds of force 6, sometimes force 7, gusting to force 8.
