Miss World Business Vietnam 2024 is recruiting contestants up to 60 years old, regardless of height.

The organizers of the Miss World Business Vietnam pageant announced the 2024 season, celebrating its 10th anniversary, with many new features on the evening of March 27th in Ho Chi Minh City.

Applicants must be up to 60 years old and at least 1.5m tall.

This competition attracted attention due to its criteria for participants. The age range for contestants was quite wide, accepting applicants from 20 to 60 years old. A minimum height of 1.5 meters was also required.

This has led many viewers to believe that, given the current surge in beauty pageants, expanding the age range is necessary to ensure a sufficient number of contestants.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Manh - head of the organizing committee of the Miss World Business Vietnam 2024 competition - explained that they are recruiting contestants up to 60 years old because the organizing committee wants to create opportunities for many people to transform themselves by participating in the competition.

Regarding height, he said it wasn't important; what mattered was that participants had compassionate hearts, cared about the community, and shared love with those in difficult circumstances.

"The winner is not necessarily the most beautiful girl, but must possess five criteria of the competition: character, vision, talent, beauty, and connection."

"In that context, networking is the most important factor. Networking helps entrepreneurs do business better, contribute to the community, and spread their influence more widely," said Mr. Nguyen Duy Manh.

The semi-finals are scheduled to take place on May 19th. This event will bring together approximately 150 female entrepreneurs who have participated in the competition over the past 10 years, allowing them to meet, network, and contribute to community projects.

The organizers will select the top 40 finalists for the Miss World Business Vietnam 2024 competition, which is expected to take place in June 2024 in Dong Nai .

In particular, the top 15 finalists will each have a promotional music video created by the organizers to showcase tourism .

The organizers also embarked on a journey to find ambassadors in all 63 provinces and cities to spread the positive image of the competition and inspire the contestants.

Create more opportunities for candidates to participate in volunteer activities.

The Miss World Business Vietnam 2024 competition is approved by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Nai province .

Singer Nguyen Vu said he sets criteria for finding contestants who are dedicated, talented, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as confidence.

The reason runner-up Bang Chau has served as a judge for many years is because the competition is meaningful and connects with the community, helping many disadvantaged people through charitable and philanthropic activities.

Designer Quynh Paris believes that everyone has their own unique beauty, and the competition helps women open up, become more confident, and especially express their compassion.

Actress Hien Mai supports the charitable activities held alongside the competition, creating more opportunities for entrepreneurs to demonstrate their social responsibility.

Meanwhile, artist Trinh Kim Chi highly praised the contestants from previous seasons. She suggested organizing the ambassador search journey early to spread awareness of the competition more widely.
