The conference was attended by 14 businesses from Gunma Prefecture operating in manufacturing, automotive parts production, medical equipment, food, interior design, etc., along with more than 20 businesses from Da Nang.
The conference consisted of two sessions: an introduction to the investment environment in Da Nang and networking and cooperation with businesses in Gunma Prefecture.
Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Xuan Binh emphasized that Gunma is one of Japan's leading industrial centers, sharing many similarities with Da Nang city in terms of potential, strengths, and development orientation.
This is the second time the "Gunma Province Business Meeting" conference has been held in Da Nang, affirming the increasingly deep cooperative relationship between the two localities.
According to Mr. Nguyen Xuan Binh, the conference is an opportunity for the city to introduce to Japanese businesses the open investment environment and preferential policies in the Free Trade Zone, High-Tech Park, and industrial parks.
This also provides an opportunity for businesses in Da Nang city and Gunma province to meet directly, share information, and work towards establishing partnerships, expanding import and export markets, and contributing to strengthening the friendship between Da Nang and Gunma in particular, and Vietnam and Japan in general.

According to Mr. Fukai Akihiko, Representative Director of Gunma Bank, Da Nang city is becoming a potential investment destination, attracting great interest from businesses in Gunma province thanks to its impressive economic growth rate, modern industrial infrastructure, and favorable geographical location.
Mr. Fukai Akihiko stated that there are currently about 60 Gunma businesses that have invested in Vietnam; many of them are exploring opportunities to expand into the central region, especially Da Nang.
"With the mission of connecting human strengths to create a better future for the community, we aspire to partner with Da Nang in promoting bilateral cooperation, contributing to the increasingly substantive and effective development of economic relations between Vietnam and Japan," Mr. Fukai Akihiko emphasized.
