Expanding investment cooperation, connecting businesses between Da Nang and Gunma (Japan)

DNO - On October 22, the Department of Foreign Affairs of Da Nang coordinated with Gunma Bank (Japan) to organize the conference "Meeting with Gunma Province Enterprises in Da Nang in 2025".

Attending the conference were 14 Gunma province enterprises operating in the fields of manufacturing industry, auto parts production, medical equipment, food, interior design... along with more than 20 Da Nang enterprises.

The conference includes 2 sessions: introducing the investment environment in Da Nang and connecting and exchanging cooperation with businesses in Gunma province.

Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Xuan Binh emphasized that Gunma is one of the leading industrial development centers in Japan, sharing many similarities with Da Nang city in terms of potential, strengths, and development orientation.

This is the second time the "Meeting with Gunma Province Enterprises" conference has been held in Da Nang, affirming the increasingly deep cooperative relationship between the two localities.

According to Mr. Nguyen Xuan Binh, the conference is an opportunity for the city to introduce to Japanese enterprises the open investment environment and preferential policies in the Free Trade Zone, High-Tech Park and industrial parks.

At the same time, it is an opportunity for businesses of Da Nang city and Gunma province to directly meet and share information, aiming to establish partnerships, expand import and export markets, contributing to strengthening the friendship between Da Nang - Gunma in particular and Vietnam - Japan in general.

According to Mr. Fukai Akihiko, Representative Director of Gunma Bank, Da Nang city is becoming a potential investment destination, attracting great attention from businesses in Gunma province thanks to its impressive economic growth rate, modern industrial infrastructure and favorable geographical location.

Mr. Fukai Akihiko said that currently there are about 60 Gunma enterprises investing in Vietnam; many of which are exploring opportunities to expand to the Central region, especially Da Nang.

“With the mission of connecting human strength to create the future of the community, we wish to accompany Da Nang in promoting bilateral cooperation, contributing to the increasingly substantial and effective development of economic relations between Vietnam and Japan,” Mr. Fukai Akihiko emphasized.
