MobiFone partners with Vinh Long to achieve breakthroughs in the digital age.

On December 12, 2025, in Vinh Long province, MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation held two important signing ceremonies for cooperation agreements with the Vinh Long Provincial Police Department and the Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee.

This event marks a new stage in the collaborative relationship between telecommunications and technology enterprises under the Ministry of Public Security and the police force and provincial and city governments, aiming to accelerate comprehensive digital transformation within the People's Police force and to work alongside local governments in developing digital government, digital economy, and digital society.

Attending the ceremonies were leaders from the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee, the Vinh Long Provincial Police Department, and the leadership of MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation and MobiFone Vinh Long branch.

MobiFone is a pioneer in implementing digital transformation within the police force.

At the Vinh Long Provincial Police Headquarters, MobiFone and the Provincial Police Department signed a Memorandum of Understanding on digital transformation cooperation.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Truong Son Lam - Chairman of MobiFone - affirmed that MobiFone is a state-owned enterprise under the Ministry of Public Security, carrying a special mission: to both ensure communication services for political tasks and develop the national telecommunications and information technology infrastructure, contributing to the implementation of major policies and strategies on science, technology and digital transformation.

According to the signed agreement, both sides agreed to promote the application of digital infrastructure, digital platforms, data, and modern technological solutions to effectively serve public administration, management, and command and control of the provincial police force. The focus is on building a digital ecosystem for the police sector in the province, synchronously connecting with the technology platforms of the Ministry of Public Security; developing a data center; sharing telecommunications infrastructure; and deploying a dedicated network (Private Network/Private 5G) to serve specific requirements for ensuring security and order.

In addition, MobiFone will cooperate in implementing solutions to ensure cybersecurity and information safety; provide digital skills training; and transfer technology, contributing to building a professional, elite, and modern police force in Vinh Long province, meeting the requirements of the mission in the new situation.

The signing ceremony is considered a significant milestone, affirming MobiFone's role as a telecommunications and technology enterprise under the Ministry of Public Security, directly serving national security tasks and building a strategic and sustainable cooperative relationship with local police forces.

Working together to build a digital government and a digital economy.

On the same day, at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Vinh Long province, MobiFone continued to sign a cooperation agreement on digital transformation for the period 2025-2030 with the People's Committee of Vinh Long province. The agreement focuses on three pillars: digital government, digital infrastructure, and digital economy - digital society.

MobiFone leaders emphasized that over the years, the two sides have implemented many practical cooperation activities such as smart broadcasting systems, provincial-level information source systems, smart tourism and agriculture platforms; popularizing electronic invoices, digital signatures, and cashless payments; digital transformation of communities; expanding 4G/5G coverage throughout the region… These results have created a solid foundation for a new, more extensive phase of cooperation.

According to the signed agreement, the two sides agreed to research and propose technology platforms to serve the two-tiered government model; integrate specialized data systems and shared provincial data; and enhance cybersecurity capabilities. Simultaneously, priority will be given to developing modern telecommunications and information technology infrastructure, expanding 4G coverage, and deploying 5G in key areas, creating a foundation for building smart cities, smart transportation, resource and environmental management, and providing high-level online public services.

In the field of digital economy and digital society, MobiFone collaborates in consulting and implementing solutions in tourism, trade, agriculture, industry, education, and healthcare; promoting cashless payments, e-commerce, and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in digital transformation.

Within the framework of the signing ceremony, MobiFone presented a thematic paper titled "Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence (AI): Driving Forces for the Development of Vinh Long in the New Era," aiming to concretize the spirit of Resolution 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science and technology and national digital transformation. The paper offered numerous solutions for the development of digital government, digital economy, and digital society in Vinh Long province.

Affirming the role of defense and security enterprises in the digital age.

According to experts, this series of events clearly demonstrates MobiFone's pioneering and pivotal role in the telecommunications and information technology sector, linked to the fulfillment of national defense and security tasks in the new situation.
