Information about the special gift of Mr. Nguyen Xuan Khanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Bich Hao commune ( Nghe An ) to a male student at the opening ceremony was posted by Mr. Tran Dinh Tho, Deputy Director of the Bich Hao commune Public Administration Service Center on his personal Facebook page.
According to Mr. Tho, on the morning of September 5, when the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year at Thanh Tung Secondary School (Bich Hao commune) ended, the delegation of Bich Hao commune attending the opening ceremony at this school also prepared to return to the headquarters to continue their daily work.
“At that time, I saw Mr. Khanh take off his belt and give it to a male student. I realized that this boy had just come up to receive a gift for learning. The other students were all tucking their shirts in, but this boy's shirt was still outside his pants, but the shirt was a bit short, so when he raised his arms, the wide back of his pants was exposed, with a string tied around the belt to... prevent it from falling down. After giving the opening gift, Mr. Khanh asked the teacher sitting behind him about the boy's situation,” Mr. Tho shared.

It is known that the male student in question is in 8th grade and comes from a poor family. His school uniform pants were too big and he had not had time to fix them. There was no belt so he used a string to tie his pants.
The article after being posted on Facebook received many positive comments. Many people said that the gift was not big but showed the meticulous and delicate observation of the Deputy Secretary of the Commune Party Committee.
It is known that Mr. Nguyen Xuan Khanh was the former Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Thanh Chuong District (old), Nghe An Province. When implementing the 2-level local government model, Mr. Khanh was assigned to work in Bich Hao Commune, an administrative unit formed on the basis of merging the communes of Mai Giang, Thanh Lam, Thanh Tung and Thanh Xuan (old Thanh Chuong District).
When asked about this special gift, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Khanh waved his hand and said, "It's just a small thing, nothing worth mentioning."
According to Mr. Khanh, he is learning more about this male student's situation to have a plan to support him during his studies.
Before the new school year, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Khanh also connected with a number of businesses in Hanoi to give more than 200 gifts to disadvantaged students at schools in the commune.
