(NLDO) - The victim was a 9th grade student who was invited by 3 classmates to go to a lake in the Ho Chi Minh City Technology Park to play but unfortunately drowned and died.
On the evening of December 1, Thu Duc City Police (HCMC) coordinated with relevant professional units to investigate the death of a 9th grade male student in a lake.
That same afternoon, four students went to a lake thousands of square meters wide on D15 Street, Tang Nhon Phu B Ward (in Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park) to play.
At 4 p.m., K. (14 years old, 9th grade student at Hiep Phu Secondary School) suddenly drowned. His three friends were scared and ran to inform the adults.
Scene of the incident on Le Thi Hoa Street, Binh Chieu Ward.
Security guards at the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park rescued K. to shore, but he had already died.
Initial investigation determined that at noon, because of school break, the friends came to K's room to invite him to hang out. After that, the above incident happened.
