QUANG TRI While rowing a basket boat from the ship to shore, a fisherman unfortunately had his boat sink and went missing…

Roon Border Guard Station said that the unit is deploying forces and vehicles, coordinating with local authorities and families to search for fishermen who went missing after waves sank their boat.

At 8:00 a.m. on November 4, Mr. PHQ (born in 1969, residing in Hoa Trach commune, Quang Tri province), was driving a basket boat (under 6 meters) on the way from the fishing boat to Roon estuary.

When about 70 meters from the door, the boat was sunk by waves. Mr. H. tried to swim to shore but was pushed away by the waves and went missing.

Upon receiving the news, the Roon Border Guard Station (Quang Tri Border Guard) sent 8 officers and soldiers to coordinate with local authorities, families, people, and fishermen from villages in the area to search for the missing person.
