According to the field survey, the landslide is 100m long and extends approximately 25m inland. The landslide area is located within a warning zone of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, situated at a sharp bend where the current flows close to the bank, with strong currents, combined with heavy loads on the bank (houses, road traffic, etc.) causing landslides and subsidence in the area.

The landslide completely destroyed two houses and a warehouse containing construction tools and equipment; and relocated a repair shop. The estimated damage is 200 million VND, with no casualties.

Authorities have put up warning tape around the landslide area.

In response to the situation, the People's Committee of the commune conducted a field survey and assisted residents in dismantling and relocating their property to safe areas. Currently, the local authorities are continuing to encourage residents in the surrounding area to trim trees, clear bushes, and relocate structures to reduce the load. They are also cordoning off the area with ropes, installing temporary barriers and signs, and hanging warning lights to ensure traffic safety. Simultaneously, they continue to monitor the situation to warn and encourage residents and households at risk of subsidence and landslides to relocate to safe areas.

The People's Committee of the commune, together with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, provided support to two households with 3 million VND per household, along with essential necessities to ensure their livelihoods.

The People's Committee of the commune requests that provincial-level specialized departments survey, assess, and consider proposing to the Provincial People's Committee to provide funding for the commune to address and repair the aforementioned road section and to provide assistance to the two households completely affected by landslides, using provincial funds.
