
Pham Minh Anh (born in 2006, 12A3 grade student, Binh Xuyen High School, Vinh Phuc Province) was hit by a train. According to regulations, the male student was granted special permission to graduate from high school.
According to initial information, on the evening of June 22, male student Pham Minh Anh was on his way home from extra classes to prepare for the 2024 high school graduation exam when he unfortunately had an accident with a train while crossing a residential opening at Km 42+700 in Son Loi commune, Binh Xuyen district.
Immediately afterwards, Minh Anh was taken to the emergency room in critical condition. After surgery, the male student had to have his legs amputated and is currently undergoing intensive treatment.
Immediately after receiving information about the incident, the Department of Education and Training of Vinh Phuc province directed the school to guide the family in completing the application procedures for special consideration of high school graduation.
Responding to the press, Mr. Trinh Van Mung, Head of the Examination and Quality Management Department, Vinh Phuc Department of Education and Training, said that according to the examination regulations, candidates who have accidents, are sick or have special emergencies and cannot take the exam will be given special consideration for high school graduation.
Minh Anh is in the case of "Candidates who had an accident before the exam day" so she is considered for special consideration to graduate from high school.
Pham Minh Anh is the only child in the family. After receiving approval from relevant departments, the school coordinated with the family to apply for special consideration so that he could receive a diploma.
