Responding to a VietNamNet reporter, Principal Vu Van Tien said that he and the teachers at the school were very happy with this result achieved by their student, Vu Manh Doanh.

Mr. Tien said that Manh Doanh is truly an outstanding student in the specialized English class: "Doanh not only has a good foundation of knowledge and intelligence but is also diligent. From junior high school and into high school, he has shown excellence, studying consistently and comprehensively."
Manh Doanh previously won first prize in the National Excellent Student Competition in English in the 2024-2025 school year with the highest score nationwide; second prize in the National Excellent Student Competition in English in 2023-2024; and a gold medal in the Excellent Student Competition in English for the Coastal and Northern Delta regions in the 2023-2024 school year...
Three years ago, during the 10th grade entrance exam season, this former student of Cau Giay Secondary School was accepted into all five specialized high schools across three different subject areas. Specifically, he was accepted into the English specialization at three schools: the High School for Gifted Students affiliated with Hanoi University of Education, Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for Gifted Students, and the High School for Foreign Languages. He was also accepted into the Chemistry specialization at the High School for Gifted Students in Natural Sciences and the Literature specialization at the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities.
As the top-scoring student in the entrance exam for the English specialized class at the High School for Gifted Students affiliated with the University of Education, Mạnh Doanh decided to study at this school.
