Despite the harsh weather, more than 170 "steel roses" of the female police force still enthusiastically practiced to prepare for the parade in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory.
These days, at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture (Son Tay, Hanoi ), more than 800 police officers and soldiers are enthusiastically practicing for the parade to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024). The police parade had the full participation of all forces with more than 1,325 soldiers, divided into 11 blocks, practicing at 3 locations. At the Vietnam Ethnic Culture Village alone, there are more than 800 officers and soldiers in 8 training groups, including: People's Security Officers, People's Police, Mobile Police, Fire Prevention and Fighting Police, Traffic Police Officers, Special Police... In particular, the Traffic Police and Special Police units will be staffed by 170 female officers and soldiers. In particular, the female Special Police unit is considered the "steel roses". Soldier Ha Thi Hong Nhi (special police female unit) said that in order to serve the parade and march in the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory, she and the female soldiers have been practicing for more than 2 months now. "In the first days of practice, we had to practice keeping our legs straight, in the correct posture and style. The movement required lifting the legs, pressing the toes exactly 35cm from the ground, and the hand holding the gun needed to be soft but firm and dignified. In the first days of practice, we felt very tired, but because of the honor and pride of participating in the parade and march on the big holiday, we overcame the fatigue and practiced enthusiastically," said the female soldier. Soldier Vi Thi Nam (female traffic police) shared that in terms of physical strength, female soldiers are not as good as male soldiers, so they always have to try their best to complete their assigned tasks well. "When practicing the command, uniformity is the most important. So when we practice, keeping a straight line and uniform in movements is the most difficult thing. We always try every day to be uniform and complete our assigned tasks well," said soldier Vi Thi Nam. Lieutenant Colonel Pham Dai Dong, Deputy Head of the Mobile Police Training and Professional Guidance Department (Mobile Police Command) said that the officers and soldiers participating in the parades and marches in the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory were carefully selected by the unit. These are excellent officers and soldiers, meeting the criteria of height, physique, military appearance, health... "To achieve uniformity between officers and soldiers in the group and among the groups, we have to train very meticulously from hand and foot movements, dividing movements into stages", said Lieutenant Colonel Pham Dai Dong. Lieutenant Colonel Pham Dai Dong said that for the soldiers participating in the parades and marches this time, it is an honor and responsibility, and they are also the young generation continuing the heroic history of their ancestors.
The parade will be held on the morning of May 7 after the National Celebration at Dien Bien Provincial Stadium, with the preparation of 5 forces: Artillery force; Air Force flying salute; Parade force (including the Honor Guard, the parade force chaired by the Ministry of National Defense in coordination with the Ministry of Public Security , the Mass marching force, the Art marching force); the background force on the field (including 27 blocks, of which 7 are armed forces, 20 are mass forces); and the force forming shapes and letters.
