Early childhood education is a field of study directly related to the formation of a child's personality from their very first years. Therefore, this field prioritizes selecting truly outstanding individuals with full competence and integrity, and especially those who have a love for children.
Currently, the main entrance exam block for the Early Childhood Education major is Block M. The subjects in Block M include: Mathematics, Literature, and Aptitude for the Early Childhood Education specialization, or Mathematics, Literature, English, and Aptitude for the Early Childhood Education - English specialization.
Specifically, the scores from the high school graduation exam will be used for admission consideration in Literature, Mathematics, and English. For aptitude tests, candidates must register to take a separate exam according to the regulations of the university they are applying to.
The aptitude tests for the M group include: Singing, Expressive Reading, and Storytelling. Each school will have different aptitude test requirements, tailored to their specific admission criteria. However, most candidates must take the Singing and Storytelling tests when applying to the M group.

The University of Education (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) recruits students for the Early Childhood Education major through the following methods: considering high school graduation exam scores, direct admission and priority admission, considering scores from aptitude tests organized by Vietnam National University, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, and admission according to the Vietnam National University, Hanoi's admission method.
Last year, the minimum admission score for this major was 25.39 points. In contrast, in 2022, the cutoff score was higher at 25.7 points.
Vinh University - in 2024, plans to recruit 170 students for the Early Childhood Education major, using two methods: a combination of high school graduation exam results and aptitude test scores, and a combination of 12th-grade academic results and aptitude test scores.
