According to the list of candidates proposed by the Council of Professors for recognition of meeting the standards for the title of professor and associate professor in 2024, this year there are a total of 673 candidates (22 less than in 2023) with 62 professor candidates and 611 associate professor candidates.

Among the 25 professional and interdisciplinary professorial councils, the Economics Professorial Council continues to lead in the number of candidates with 108 people (6 professor candidates and 102 associate professors).

The total number of candidates in the field of Economics increased by 6 compared to last year, but the number of candidates for professor decreased by 4 people, while the number of candidates for associate professor increased by 10 people.

Previously, according to information from the Office of the State Council of Professors, this year the country had a total of 110 basic Councils of Professors established with a total of 1,033 candidates, including 93 professor candidates and 940 associate professor candidates.

According to the plan, from August 31 to September 27, the Industry and Interdisciplinary Professor Councils will consider and recognize the qualifications for the title of professor and associate professor in 2024.

From October 21 to October 31, the State Council of Professors met to consider recognition of meeting the standards for the titles of professor and associate professor in 2024.
