Nghe An: Announcement of the decision to appoint Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee

On the afternoon of July 9th, the Internal Affairs Department of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee held a ceremony to announce the Standing Committee's decision on personnel matters. Attending the ceremony were Comrade Nguyen Van Thong – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee: Ho Le Ngoc – Head of the Internal Affairs Department, Ngoc Kim Nam – Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department; and Major General Bui Quang Thanh – Director of the Provincial Police.

According to Decision 2669 dated June 20, 2024, of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, Lieutenant Colonel Pham Vu Cuong – Deputy Director of the Provincial Police – has been appointed for a term of 5 years to the position of Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong presented the decision and offered flowers to congratulate Comrade Pham Vu Cuong.

Congratulating comrade Pham Vu Cuong on being appointed to a new position by the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Internal Affairs Committee being strengthened with a new leader, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong emphasized: this is the first time Nghe An has appointed and arranged a deputy director of the prosecution sector, seconded to participate in leading the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; to strengthen the leadership of the advisory boards, assisting the Provincial Party Committee; especially in the context that the Internal Affairs Committee is trusted and assigned the task of presiding over and advising in the field of preventing corruption and negativity.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee assessed: Comrade Pham Vu Cuong is a well-trained officer, having held many positions and positions in different areas of the Provincial Police. He has a strong political stance, a high sense of responsibility; he is exemplary in demonstrating moral qualities and working style. Being appointed to the position of Deputy Head of the Internal Affairs Committee is an honor but also a great responsibility.

Therefore, Comrade Nguyen Van Thong hopes that the newly appointed Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department will continue to strive to successfully complete all assigned tasks. He should quickly gain a deep and broad understanding of Party building work to advise the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; not only on resolutions, regulations, and documents in the field of Party building, but also on working methods, character, and conduct befitting a leading Party member of a Party department.
