Former Chairman of Quang Nam re-elected Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee

On August 28, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Quang Nam province held the 11th congress for the 2024-2029 term.

The Congress elected Mr. Le Tri Thanh - former Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province, Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam province, term X - to continue holding the position of Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam province, term XI, term 2024-2029.

Previously, on July 9, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam province held the 13th conference, term X, term 2019-2024 and announced decisions on personnel work.

At the conference, 100% of delegates unanimously agreed to elect Mr. Le Tri Thanh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, to join the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, to hold the position of Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, term X, 2019-2024, replacing Mr. Vo Xuan Ca.

The 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Quang Nam province, term 2024-2029, was officially held on August 28, with 500 delegates, including 300 official delegates.

This is an important political and social event, receiving deep attention from Party committees at all levels, authorities and people of all walks of life in the whole province.

The Congress consulted and elected the 11th Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for the 2024-2029 term, consisting of 96 members, representing ethnic groups, religions and people of all walks of life in the province; meeting the requirements and tasks of the front's work in the new period.

The Congress consulted and elected a delegation to attend the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term, ensuring the number and structure according to the allocation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
