Many good cultural models will create clear changes in the period 2021-2025

VHO - After 5 years of implementing the Cultural Development Strategy to 2030, Thanh Hoa has effectively mobilized resources, prioritized infrastructure investment, expanded grassroots cultural models and promoted socialization. Many new approaches and good initiatives have been widely replicated, creating clear changes in the cultural life of the community.

Concentrate resources, perfect cultural and sports facilities

In the 2021 - 2025 period, Thanh Hoa province will deploy many key tasks to implement the Cultural Development Strategy to 2030, in which the Program to improve the quality of culture and sports in the 2026 - 2030 period is identified as one of the two key programs.

The overarching goal is to focus resources on socio-cultural development, making tourism a key economic sector and creating a breakthrough in international integration.

Lam Kinh Historical Relic Site is being prioritized for restoration and embellishment in the cultural infrastructure investment program of Thanh Hoa province.

The province is perfecting mechanisms and policies to encourage investment in tourism, especially in mountainous areas; reviewing and adjusting socialization policies to attract resources to build cultural, sports and tourism infrastructure.

Many important projects are given priority in allocating resources such as: completing infrastructure of key national tourist areas; restoring special national relics such as Lam Kinh Historical Relic Site (Lam Son Commune), Ba Trieu Temple Relic Site (Trieu Loc Commune); synchronous investment in grassroots cultural and sports institutions.

At the same time, the province has increased the mobilization of social resources according to Decree 69/2008/ND-CP and Decree 59/2014/ND-CP, considering this an important driving force for the development of culture - sports, education and health. Inter-sectoral coordination has been promoted to improve the effectiveness of state management of culture, sports and tourism.

Key projects such as the Traditional Art Theater, the Provincial Museum, the Provincial Cultural - Cinema Center and many district-level cultural - sports facilities continue to receive modern investment, meeting the enjoyment needs of the people and serving the political tasks of the locality.

Many good models spread at the grassroots level

Besides infrastructure investment, Thanh Hoa pays special attention to innovating cultural activities, creating a spread from the grassroots through many creative models.

Thanh Hoa Provincial Museum builds a model of "History Education Program" by bringing billboards and activities to schools; organizing mobile exhibitions to remote areas; gradually applying QR codes to look up information on national treasures and outdoor exhibits.

Mr. Trinh Dinh Duong, Director of Thanh Hoa Museum shared: “We want to bring heritage closer to the community, especially students. Implementing QR codes or organizing mobile exhibitions helps access to heritage become more intuitive and vivid. This is the direction that the Museum will continue to expand in the future.”

Lam Son Art Theater effectively implemented the Television Stage and Children's Stage Project for the period 2021 - 2025. Programs were broadcast on Thanh Hoa Newspaper and Radio - Television Station, serving both on-site audiences and expanding access via digital platforms.

Every year, the Theater stages a children's play, transports students from more than 45 schools, and organizes hundreds of performances for young audiences. At the same time, the Theater maintains art programs for mountainous, remote, and isolated areas; restores and promotes traditional art forms such as Tuong, Cheo, Cai Luong, Ca - dance - music, and Drama.

At the commune and ward levels, many good models have been effectively implemented: Hoang Thanh Commune has the model "Self-managed cultural house, multi-purpose community living space" which turns the cultural house into a place for meetings, performing arts practice, reading, and entertainment; and has been replicated in all villages.

The initiative “Preserving Marine Culture in association with community tourism” supports households in developing experiences in the sea, making fish sauce, and processing seafood; both creating unique tourism products and preserving identity.

Cong Chinh Commune has maintained the model of "Study-loving family" in many villages for many years, establishing a scholarship fund to support and encourage poor students to overcome difficulties and encourage academic achievements.

Yen Ninh Commune has a model of "Green - clean - beautiful, friendly cultural house" deployed in 100% of villages; planting flowers and trees, building flower roads, classifying garbage; mobilizing socialization and labor days of the people.

Nam Sam Son Ward has many diverse models such as "turning trash into money", "piggy bank", "clean house, beautiful garden", mobile swimming pool, "Self-managed school gate on traffic safety", playground for children.

Trieu Son commune maintains and expands the models of "Cultural - art club, folk song - folk dance", "Learning family", "Community library", "Smart bookshelf".

Many models of building healthy families and cultural environments have been widely deployed, such as the Club "Parents raising good children", "Women with the law", "Mother and daughter", "Prevention of child marriage"; the model "Creative youth" of the Youth Union; the model of building a cultural environment in the armed forces.

These models have created a strong influence, raised public awareness, promoted civilized lifestyle and contributed to maintaining security and order in the locality.

Some communes maintain the model of "Village without social evils", signing a commitment with 100% of households; thanks to that, for many years, the number of law violations has clearly decreased, preventing the emergence of social evil hotspots.

From the results of the 2021 - 2025 period, Thanh Hoa has built a solid foundation to enter the Program to improve the quality of culture and sports in the 2026 - 2030 period, towards sustainable development, integration and modernization.

The leader of the Thanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism affirmed: “The grassroots cultural models, along with the participation of the community and the mobilization of diverse resources, have created an important driving force for the cultural development of the province. In the coming period, we will continue to innovate, enhance digital transformation and build a synchronous institutional system, to promote the role of culture as the foundation and driving force for development”.
