Raglai ethnic children smile brightly in “Return to my childhood”

The bright eyes and bright smiles on the faces of the students, especially the Raglai ethnic children, when they participated in the charity program “Return to my childhood” in Khanh Hoa for the first time, created a touching moment. The children not only received gifts, but also felt the love and care from the community, giving them strength to overcome difficulties and continue on the path of learning.

As one of the students who participated for the first time, Cao Thi Ty Na (Raglai ethnic group, 5th grade student, Khanh Thanh Primary School) still held the gift in her arms, shyly saying: "My family is very poor, my parents have to go peeling acacia trees in the fields to raise three children, so we don't have much money to buy school supplies for the new school year. Receiving the school gift, I feel very happy. I also received moon cakes, I saved them to bring home for the whole family to eat. I hope there will be many children like me who will receive such care."

Not far away, Cao Thanh Tuyen, 11 years old (Raglai ethnic group), shared: "I was very touched when the sponsors and organizers supported the car to take us and our teachers from the high mountains down to the place to attend the program. This is a great source of motivation for me and my friends to try to study well and keep our dreams."

While arranging seats for the students, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy, Principal of Khanh Thanh Primary School, Khanh Vinh Commune, shared: "More than 90% of the school's students are Raglai ethnic people. This is the first time the students have participated in such a large and meaningful program. I thank the government and organizations for their attention and support. These practical actions are a source of motivation for the students to continue going to school."

Mr. Nguyen Long Bien, Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, said: Khanh Hoa is committed to creating all favorable conditions for charitable and social security activities to be implemented effectively and sustainably for ethnic minority students, communes and disadvantaged areas. In addition, the students always receive the attention and care of the Party, the State, local authorities, teachers, families and the kind hearts of the community.

Ms. Nguyen Quynh Nga, President of Khanh Hoa Women's Union, shared: "We hope that the gift is a source of encouragement to help the children continue to strive, become good children, good students and useful citizens for society. This is also a way for them to feel the care, love and companionship of the political system, community, Women's Union and organizations for them".

On the evening of August 1, more than 1,000 students in Khanh Hoa participated in a special charity program, receiving gifts and scholarships from the Khanh Hoa - Saigon Business Club, the Provincial Women's Union, the Provincial Culinary Culture Association and the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association.

After 8 years of implementation, the Caravan journey "Return to my childhood" has become a profound volunteer mark in Khanh Hoa, with many meaningful activities for the community, especially children in difficult circumstances.

This year, with the theme "Sharing the same beat", the program continues to spread love and share difficulties. The organizers have awarded scholarships and gifts to poor students and supported disadvantaged families in the province. Notable activities include: awarding 400 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND; 200 bicycles to studious students and 400 study gifts...
