Ninh Thuan, Dong Nai and Tay Ninh connect to develop tourism

NDO - On the afternoon of November 23rd, a workshop to promote and sign tourism agreements between tourism associations of Ninh Thuan, Dong Nai, and Tay Ninh provinces took place in Phan Rang - Thap Cham city ( Ninh Thuan ). Eighty tourism businesses from the three provinces participated, aiming to connect and design cooperation programs based on the unique strengths of each side to develop tourism in the coming years.

At the workshop, delegates and businesses involved in travel, tourism services, and accommodation listened to presentations on the distinctive tourism products of each locality. They also focused on discussing solutions for building close linkages and cooperation mechanisms to promote tourism among the three localities and achieve the desired results.

According to Nguyen Anh Vu, Chairman of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Tourism Association, Ninh Thuan has made tourism a key economic sector of the province. Therefore, linking tourism development with each other will contribute to promoting the image of tourism, scenic spots, and unique tourism products of each locality more widely, creating a chain of tourism products with high attractiveness compared to other provinces and cities in the region and the whole country.

Ninh Thuan boasts many famous scenic spots, such as Binh Son - Ninh Chu beach, Ca Na, Binh Tien, and Hang Rai; it also has two national parks, Phuoc Binh and Nui Chua, of which Nui Chua National Park is recognized by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve, making it suitable for developing ecotourism and adventure sports.

In the first 10 months of 2024, Ninh Thuan welcomed over 3.27 million visitors, exceeding the plan by 2.5%; it is estimated that the whole year will attract 3.4 million visitors, with revenue from accommodation and food services reaching an estimated 3,890 billion VND.

According to Tran Dang Ninh, Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial Tourism Association, Dong Nai is located in the southern key economic region of the country. It not only has a developed industry but also possesses strengths in developing various types of tourism, including eco-tourism, cultural-historical tourism, spiritual tourism, sports tourism, exploration, and adventure tourism. Dong Nai is currently implementing several key projects, giving it many advantages in attracting tourists through cooperation with other localities.

At the workshop, the Tourism Associations of the three provinces signed a cooperation agreement focusing on four main areas: exchanging information on tourism development; focusing on promoting tourism between localities; developing tourism products; and supporting members of the Tourism Associations and businesses to jointly promote tourism development in the future.
