Services such as business registration, issuance of judicial records, land, healthcare, education, etc. are gradually being digitized, bringing practical benefits to people and businesses. The province has also completed the construction of software to serve the creation and updating of databases such as: Socio -economic database integrated in the Provincial Reporting System; Civil servant management database; Plant variety management database; Statistical reporting base for the information and communications sector; Database in the field of culture and information; Emulation and reward database in the province's education sector... The personal electronic data warehouse of citizens is being completed, helping citizens proactively manage and store personal electronic data on the Online Public Service Portal, the information system for handling administrative procedures of the province, ensuring effective service for the online transaction needs of people and businesses with state agencies.
As public and administrative services move to digital platforms, the provision of digital services plays a key role in promoting digital transformation. Therefore, in addition to public services, the province also focuses on coordinating and encouraging telecommunications units to develop digital platforms to serve the community. Many useful digital applications have been provided to help people easily access information, look up data, interact with the government, etc., shortening geographical distances and bringing maximum convenience.
VNPT Dak Lak is one of the enterprises playing a key role in providing digital services locally, making an important contribution to the construction of digital government, digital economy and digital society of the province. To create a solid foundation for the digital transformation process in the whole province, VNPT Dak Lak focuses on investing heavily in developing digital infrastructure.

Up to now, the unit has invested in upgrading, expanding, and bringing broadband network coverage to 100% of communes, wards, villages, hamlets..., especially remote areas of the province, ensuring bandwidth and capacity to connect and deploy the province's digital government; 100% of transmission infrastructure to agencies and organizations at all levels of government in the area has been optically transformed and a level II dedicated data transmission network system has been deployed to all departments, branches, sectors, and localities.
In an effort to promote the application of information technology to serve administrative reform, towards building a digital government, this unit has also deployed the Information System for handling administrative procedures; Information System for evaluating and ranking digital transformation, contributing to improving the digital transformation index of the province. Along with that, promoting e-commerce and finance is also one of the top priorities, contributing to creating a dynamic digital ecosystem. Currently, 100% of banks in the province have provided e-banking and financial services to the people. The number of active bank accounts of people aged 15 and over by the end of 2024 is about 2,750,000 accounts.
However, the digital transformation process and provision of digital services in Dak Lak province also face many challenges. Especially the network infrastructure in some remote communes of the province as well as the limited digital awareness and skills of a part of the people. To overcome these limitations, the province continues to focus on investing in upgrading telecommunications infrastructure, expanding 5G coverage, issuing a plan to implement the "Digital Education for All" movement in the area as well as effectively implementing digital skills training programs for the community.
