Car catches fire in the middle of a crowded street in Da Nang

(NLĐO) - The cause of the car fire is being investigated by authorities in Da Nang .

On the morning of March 14, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Da Nang City Police just extinguished a car fire in the city center.

The car unexpectedly burst into flames after three unsuccessful attempts to start it.

According to initial information, Mr. D.VC (residing on Le Duan Street, Chinh Gian Ward, Thanh Khe District) parked his 4-seater car with license plate 92A-063.xx on the side of Le Duan Street since last night (March 13).

At 6:30 this morning, Mr. C. got into his car to go to work, but after starting the engine three times, smoke suddenly came out of the front of the car.

Immediately, Mr. C. escaped from the cockpit and called the fire department for help.

Upon receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Da Nang City Police quickly dispatched two specialized fire trucks along with numerous officers and soldiers to the scene.

The fire broke out right at rush hour, causing traffic through the area to be temporarily paralyzed.

After a short time, the fire was completely extinguished.

At the scene, the red 4-seater car had its front end burned and damaged.
