Meanwhile, news from T&T Group said yesterday in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietravel Airlines held an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in 2025.

The Vietravel Airlines General Meeting of Shareholders approved the content of terminating the term of all members of the Board of Directors and Supervisory Board for the 2022-2027 term ahead of schedule, and elected a new Board of Directors for the 2025-2030 term consisting of 10 members, and a new Supervisory Board for the 2025-2030 term consisting of 3 members.

Mr. Do Vinh Quang, born in 1995, son of Mr. Do Quang Hien (Mr. Hien) was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietravel Airlines.

Mr. Do Vinh Quang is currently the vice chairman of the board of directors of T&T Group and chairman of Hanoi Football Club. He is known as the youngest chairman in the history of Vietnamese football at the age of 25, and is the husband of beauty queen Do My Linh.

The list of board members also includes Mr. Do Quang Vinh - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of SHB Bank, Chairman of BVIM Fund; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Nghi - Deputy General Director of T&T Group and a number of other senior personnel of T&T Airlines, T&T SuperPort.

The Vietravel Airlines project was approved by the Government to be established in April 2020, with a capital of 700 billion VND. By early 2021, the airline had its first commercial flight. To date, the airline has been approved to increase its capital to 1,300 billion VND.

Since the addition of a strategic shareholder in late 2024, Vietravel Airlines' business activities have not seen many positive changes. Currently, the airline's fleet consists of only one dry-leased narrow-body aircraft.

Currently, this airline operates domestic routes connecting Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with Da Nang, Quy Nhon, Nha Trang, and Phu Quoc. Vietravel Airlines also has two international routes from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Bangkok (Thailand).
