Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung holds the position of Secretary of Hue City Party Committee

(Dan Tri) - The Politburo appointed Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee.

On the morning of October 17, at the headquarters of the Hue City Party Committee, the Central Organizing Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo 's decision on personnel work.

The Politburo decided to appoint Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of Hue City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

At the same time, the Politburo decided to transfer and appoint Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Secretary of Hue City Party Committee, to hold the position of Secretary of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Speaking at the conference, Politburo member, Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung expressed his confidence that with his experience, capacity and expertise, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung will excellently complete the assigned tasks.

The Head of the Central Organizing Committee requested that, in his new position, Mr. Trung and the Party Committee, government and people of Hue city closely follow the direction of the Politburo, focus on efforts, solidarity and determination to successfully implement the set goals and tasks, contributing to building Hue city to develop comprehensively and sustainably.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung affirmed that he will make every effort, continuously study, practice, continue and promote the achievements and enthusiasm of previous generations of leaders; continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, the spirit of solidarity, dynamism and creativity, and bring Hue city to develop quickly and sustainably.

The new Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee hopes to continue receiving the attention, leadership and direction of the Party and State leaders, the Central Committees, ministries and branches; the support and companionship of the City Party Committee Executive Committee, agencies and units; and the support of cadres, party members and people to successfully complete the assigned tasks, building Hue city to be increasingly rich, beautiful, civilized and modern.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung (52 years old, from Nghe An province), Master of Public Administration, Bachelor of Judicial Law.

During his working process, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung held the positions of Deputy Director of the Department of Justice of Dak Nong (former); Standing Deputy Secretary of the Krong No District Party Committee, Dak Nong Province; Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chief of Office of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee; Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee.

From August 2018 to May 2019, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung was Deputy Secretary of the Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee, term XI, 2015-2020, and concurrently Chairman of the Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee.

From June 2019 to October 2020, he held the position of Deputy Secretary of the Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee, term XI, 2015-2020.

In October 2020, Mr. Trung held the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, term XII, 2020-2025.

In November 2020, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung was elected Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term.

On January 30, 2021, at the 13th National Congress of the Party, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung was elected as a member of the 13th Party Central Committee, term 2021-2026.

From May 2021 to June 2025, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung held the position of Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Since July, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung has held the position of Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
