Connecting consumers and businesses
This event marks the beginning of a phase where infrastructure businesses, manufacturers, e-commerce platforms, associations, and industry groups join hands to protect and develop Vietnamese goods in the e-commerce environment, promoting the message "Proud of Vietnamese Goods" online, in response to the campaign launched by the Politburo encouraging Vietnamese people to prioritize using Vietnamese goods.
The highlight of Online Friday 2024 is the space dedicated to experiencing Vietnamese products, prominently featuring imported and authentic brands. Here, in addition to products guaranteed authentic from retailers, the program also introduces high-quality Vietnamese products with attractive offers and promotions from brands and e-commerce platforms.
Besides the participation of well-known names such as Viettel Post, Grab, Sendofarm, Shopee, Lazada, TikTok shop, KIDO - one of Vietnam's leading food corporations - will also be a partner in the Online Friday 2024 program.
Mr. Tran Quoc Bao, Deputy General Director of Kido Group, shared: “We are proud to be a partner in this program, an event that not only promotes the domestic e-commerce industry but also contributes to enhancing the value and pride of Vietnamese goods. With high-quality products ranging from confectionery, ice cream, milk to essential food items, we are committed to providing consumers with safe, convenient products that meet the needs of every Vietnamese family. By participating in this program, we hope to not only grow in the domestic market but also expand opportunities to bring Vietnamese goods to the world.”
Mr. Bao stated that, with its extensive and continuously improving distribution system, Kido has expanded its product portfolio to serve Vietnamese consumers. The group focuses on developing essential products such as frozen foods, cooking oil, instant noodles, seasoning, and other convenient products to meet the growing needs of the people. Therefore, KIDO's participation in the program is not only an important strategic step but also proof of the potential for Vietnamese products to reach international standards.

In response to the program, representatives from the e-commerce platform Lazada also announced that they will sponsor thousands of discount vouchers with discounts of 8%, 10%, and 12%, worth up to 400,000 VND, as well as free shipping vouchers. In particular, during the 60-hour online shopping event, Lazada will give customers 1000 vouchers worth 50,000 VND each.
