MONOCYCLE shows innovation with the product Where the light calls you

Where the light calls me is about the issue of psychological violence against children, completely different from the group's previous products. According to the revelation, the change in age and experience when many members of the group have families is the reason why MONOCYCLE released this project.
“Getting married and having children helps us feel more emotional when performing songs. In the past, when I saw little children selling lottery tickets, following their mothers to beg for money..., I felt sympathy, but it stopped there. Now that I have children, I think and imagine more. Seeing that child is the same age as my child, if my child were like that, I couldn't stand it. Children are innocent and need to be protected and sheltered,” the group representative shared.
Furthermore, through this composition, the 4 members of the group also want to break the stereotype of rock being edgy, rough... or just talking about the ego, to bring a more comfortable, softer perspective, thereby reaching the majority of the audience. This is also part of the message that MONOCYCLE wants to share with fans.
As a guest, Pham Anh Khoa was passionate when performing.

“This is a completely different direction of sharing emotions from MONOCYCLE from 2012-2016. Our music will be closer to the audience. Not to mention that we will join hands to do something great, but at least when we listen to this song, people will think of the pain of others, sympathize and immediately stop thinking and acting badly towards people around in general and children in particular,” MONOCYCLE expressed.
Notably, the band’s entire live performance, which lasted nearly 5 minutes, was recorded and turned into a music video. The group shared that they came up with this idea with the desire to mark a special showcase during their 12-year career. At the same time, the live music video of the song is also MONOCYCLE’s most sincere and meaningful thank you to those who have loved and supported the group.
The latter part of the showcase attracted viewers with the appearance of special guests including: Lung and Tuan (members of Microwave group), Pham Anh Khoa, and the band 1818. Pham Anh Khoa shared that he was very impressed with Where the light calls you and promised "to always accompany and support the group wholeheartedly in the next products".
